PLAY CONDITION: All necessary repairs needed to make the instrument performance ready. This may include pads, key materials, key fittings, springs, tenon corks, neck cork, cleaning, oiling, adjustments, voicing, and a final play test. Play conditions vary from instrument to instrument, therefore pricing is fluid. Below is the typical range of PC repair prices.

REPAD: Full disassembly of the instrument and removal of old pads and materials. Thorough cleaning of all parts. Oiling wood bores. Precision key fittings, installation of new pads (bladder, synthetic, leather, cork, custom), installation of materials (cork, ultra suede, Teflon, synthetic), reassembly, level and seat pads, adjust key heights, adjust key mechanisms, voicing, regulation, lubricate mechanisms, play test.

OVERHAUL/RESTORATION: Similar process as a repad with the additions of key and body polish, immersion wood oiling, re establishing and re golding logo (if able), scratch removal as able, burnishing as able. Key and body plating available with additional time and charges. Pricing will be assessed and confirmed by the job.

SINGLE SERVICES: These are non-PC jobs such as replacing one tenon cork, key brazing, or soldering one spot. These jobs do not guarantee play condition of the instrument and are based on a shop minimum of $25.00 at the discretion of the technician.
