Crack Pinning--Before

Crack Pinning--After

This was an extensive time consuming job.  I ended up installing eight pins to stabilize this massive crack.  The instrument was a very young Loree Royale oboe.

Cleaning up someone's left behind mess.

Occasionally, repair techs have to clean up from a previous repair.  In this case, there was some sloppy soldering done on a vintage satin silver saxophone.  Removing the last layer of solder tinning is tricky, but possible.

Filling in chipped out a tone hole chimney is a tedious job when you do not have all the tools necessary for a tone hole replacement.  Thankfully, CWBR has all the necessary tools for tone hole inserts.
